The Princess Project AZis a budding non-profit currently co-sponsored by the Teddy Bear ETC ministry of Interfaith CommUNITY www.interfaith-community.org. Our mission is to engage with and brighten the lives of children who are hospitalized, chronically ill or have other special needs.  By using the Disney Princesses and other fantasy characters to tap into the fertile imaginations of these young ones, we give them a short vacation from the challenges and struggles of their lives.

Whether in a group or in one-on-one visits, our goal is to recreate these magical characters for each child, allowing them to escape for a time into the world of make-believe.  Our visits are free and our time and energy shared on a volunteer basis.  The Princesses (and other characters) also appear at libraries, book stores and various children's events to interact with children, spread awareness of The Princess Project AZ and enlist donations of:

  • new small non-violent toys to be distributed to the children
  • new or gently used adult size princess, super hero or other fantasy character costumes, wigs, etc
  • new or gently used formal wear to convert to costumes
  • face painting kits & brushes
  • plastic table cloths
  • crayons

 Monetary donations are always

most gratefully accepted.
